We are very thankful that we tried out Utah Singles, neither one of us are very computer smart, but decided to try your website. I really liked your profile questions, that way you could weed out the people that you didn't like their answers and who didn't sound sincere. We meet each other on June 29, 2001 and have been together every day but two since then. I joined UtahSingles.com purely for amusement. I never expected a serious relationship. I thought it would be fun to e-mail and communicate with men anonymously. I could e-mail people I found interesting who knew absolutely nothing about me. I never placed a bio so I felt I was totally safe and in control. I started e-mailing Don funny notes. He would e-mail back funny responses. I knew a lot about him and he knew nothing about me and I really liked that. When he asked me what I looked like I told him I weighed 500 pounds, had no teeth and a bad skin condition. He e-mailed back...COOL! We both have really bizarre senses of humor. We began to e-mail daily epistles to one another. Though I enjoyed joking with him I never thought for a second it would ever come to anything. After a month of e-mailing we started talking on the phone. A week later we met. That was six months ago and we are pretty much inseparable. I don't know if our finding one another this way was a fluke or what but it really worked. It is great to get to know someone through the written word and base a relationship on communication and not appearance. When we met and had physical electricity it was like frosting on a cake.
